No! I can STILL fix this!

~~~
So this is basically every time how I feel when I enter the final boss fight :crying:
Just - DAMNIT WHEATLEY:
Have you ever noticed that, while he's certainly furious, he also seems horrified? He KNOWS shit is going down, but he doesn't know how to fix it - he's too proud to admit it tough. Even the other cores know it - it even gets the Space Core to stop rambling when Wheatley shouts that they're all going to die. Can't see Rick's face there, but the Fact Core looks utterly bewildered and short off from panicking - while the Space Core only looks kinda sad and afraid. They were originally going to be in this pic, but... I wanted the focus to be on Chell and Wheatley.
So anyway, I imagine Wheatley in this situation like an animal that has been cornered and won't give up a fight for trust. And that's how I drew him here (kinda like the rejected How to train your Dragon - gesture. :P)
Also: LIIIIIGHTS! man, lights in photoshop are SO much fun! I can't get enough of it. :la:
Also this started out as a speedpaint so that's why it might still be sketchy in some parts.
Also hands: I hate drawing haaaaaands grrrr
changed the lights and Wheatley's iris-crack (again) XDD
Realized, that, since the top of the chassis is bolted into the ceiling, the motion blurr can't be as strong there as at the bottom. :facepalm:
This has actually become part 1 out of 3 of a series:
In this destruction, it makes me sad to think that Chell still wants to save Wheatley (as seen with her reaching hand). :( And I picked up similar details on Wheatley's contrasting fear and anger too. :+fav:
