Metal Heads are the enemies in the video game Jak 2 - Renegade. (and Jak 3 still)
They have a glowing stone in their skull that shimmers in green and yellow. If you watch em closely (before you shoot them XD) you'll realize they have all a specific behavior and/or characteristics of actual animals (though in the world of Jak and Daxter all animals are kinda mixed up of two animals), often they're alike to insects, but there are also some that remind of lions. You collect their skull gems after you killed em, btw. Though I think they are pretty cool.
The ones here don't exist like that in the game, I made em up myself adapting the characteristics.
