Well, now you know why the little dragon girl from birdgrico.deviantart.com/art/Y… looked afraid.
The humans call this big dragon type simply "Red-Wing". This big fella here is the little dragon's daddy. Allthough opening his wings makes them easy targets for arrows, he does it though to protect his little one.

Working time: 3 days straight o.O (one for each dragon, one (longer) for the background)
And omg: I drew humans
I am thinking about continuing this in single story-telling pictures...if I get the time, since on Monday is school again.

Holy cow, who thought this would lead to this. This picture made me win my very first contest
WINNERS - Pet Dragon Contest
AND a new friend:
AND I am now officially assisting in the creation of her comic Pet Dragon
(which, let's just say it: Is/Will be awesome, people. 
)
What else to say... oh yeah, I've written the story for this, but I don't think I should give it away just like that. Anyway, this story WILL continue

This picture reminds me of the first part of Crusade by Voltaire. The person that's supposedly singing goes on a crusade to kill the "spawn of Satan," only to find out that it was protecting its young.
